O presidente do ERIC para este ano 2010/11, Lerzan Senturk, envia as primeiras informações sobre o novo tema a lançar para este ano ao nível europeu de Rotaract: Energia e Ecologia. Esta questão tem surgido a partir da premissa de que o acesso à energia e controle do aquecimento global serão, previsivelmente, dois dos maiores desafios da nossa geração.

A idéia é que todos nós, no Rotaract, conscientes da importância da utilização de energias renováveis e de evitar o desperdício de energia, terremos de consciencializar de que o comportamento de cada indivíduo tem um grande impacto no nível coletivo.

I am currently writing an article about World Rotaract Week for inclusion in the RI Rotaract Committee Newsletter and I want to know what your clubs are doing to recognise world Rotaract week?

Since its launch in 1968 by Rotary International, Rotaract has been serving thousands of diverse communities and helped to develop many peoples' skills
and abilities. Members have raised millions in support of thousands of charities and projects world-wide and have truly made a difference to our
planet and the people. As Rotaract enters its 41st year, how are you recognising and celebration World Rotaract Day on 13th March?

Please send me a short paragraph about what you're club is planning and a photo of your members being active - if possible please respond to this
email by Friday 6th March (sorry for the short notice but we want to get the newsletter out in time for World Rotaract Day!).

International Photography Photoract Contest is continuing with Photoract2 contest. We changed the subject the contest and the jury. Because we believe that changes bring luck. We have gorgeous news for ones who interested in photography .We are organizing a photography contest, with the subject based on kids. Dear fellow Presidents and Rotaractors,
 
I am writing on behalf of the Rotaract Club of Kwai Chung, R.I.D. 3450 to invite your club to join our International Service Project called, "Rotar@ction" .Rotar@ction is a combination of "Rotaract" and "Action". We are aware what we are concerned about and we want to serve our community at the Rotaract level.

We want to know what happens on the other side of the world;
We want to raise international awareness for some of the most significant or rarely noticed social issues among Rotaract Clubs in different countries;
We want to connect Rotaract Clubs in different countries;
We want to have more interactions among different Rotaract Clubs;
We want to learn from other Rotaract Clubs;
We want to initiate collaborations, communications and exchanges among Rotaract Clubs in different countries.

Our Club now initiates the Rotar@ction Project as an exchange platform of sharing .We will launch a web page and publish the photos / articles received.
 

It's a simple idea, all we'd like you to do is to send us a postcard
from your club with your message on it - the wall will be displayed
to symbolise the united front of the worlds youth against violence,
crime and terrorism!
